Two friends of mine have a Yahoo Messenger virus or adware - you name it, that sends links to websites that have the download virus (I have Norton Antivirus so I got rid of the viruses as soon as they got on my computer). It's anoying beeing disturbed like that and anyway, I want to help them, so please tell me if you know how to get rid of that virus! By the way, you can recognize the virus because the links are in english (and my friends are romanian, like me), the link usualy has some text, like a description to the link, and the link usualy starts with "mytermex.com" or "nfl-school.com" but you get only the page "Methomalia..... (I'm not sure about this word, but it was something like this)" so be careful!

This is a worm that spreads itself by sending links to your contacts in messengers like Yahoo, AOL and Windows Live messengers. It disables Registry Editor and Task Manager. It changes the Internet Explorer (IE) home page and also modifies registry such that you cannot change the homepage address.
Here are simple steps following which you can get the worm removed from your system:

2) Double click on that downloaded registry file, you will be asked wheather you're sure to add this to registry, click yes.
